Started his teaching career as an Elementary Physical Education Instructor. After 6 years he took a position at Wichita State where he taught and completed his Masters in Education. After 12 years teaching he opened his own business offering Diving and Skiing trips, lessons and equipment.

As an owner of Pro Ski & Scuba and a Padi IDC Staff Instructor he has taught diving for over 25 years, made thousands of dives all over the world and introduced many new divers and their families to the wonderful world down under.  Fred has also served as captain of the Scubacat for 32 charters.
