Matt began his SCUBA training in January of 2007 while on active duty in the Marine Corps and living in Southern California.  He completed his Open Water Certification in January 2007 diving off of Catalina Island and was instantly addicted to diving.  Matt immediately started to advance his diving career by taking as many specialties and diving as much as possible.  Matt completed his Master Scuba Diver rating in April 2007 and completed his Divemaster certification in May 2007. 

Matt currently holds PADI certifications in Enriched Air Nitrox, Equipment specialist, Underwater Navigation, Search & Recovery, Dry Suit, Wreck, Deep, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Diver Propulsion Vehicle, Digital U/W Photography, and Boat.

Matt enjoys helping students learn to dive and being underwater as much as possible.  He travels often to Beaver Lake to help with classes and gets back to his Southern California diving roots as much as possible.
